Tata Steel’s Industrial Consulting Division (TSIC) and TEXMiN, the Mining Technology Innovation Hub at IIT (ISM) Dhanbad, have entered into a strategic alliance to revolutionize the mining sector in India. The partnership aims to drive the industry towards ‘Mining 4.0’ by integrating software and digital technologies into exploration, mining, and beneficiation processes. This collaboration is a significant step towards transforming natural resource management in the country.
The memorandum of understanding (MOU) signed by the two entities focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and promoting sustainable practices within the mining industry. Through this partnership, TSIC and TEXMiN will combine their expertise to develop innovative solutions that support the industry's digital transformation.
